All you need to know about Bollywood’s Fashion Diva- Sonam Kapoor’s Wedding!
Today Bollywood’s very own fashionista, Sonam Kapoor got married to Delhi businessman Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh ritual wedding ceremony held at Mumbai city. The marriage ceremony saw the presence of almost all big and renowned Bollywood celebrities and was held at Sonam Kapoor’s aunt home at Bandstand in Mumbai.
The wedding ceremony also spotted Bollywood’s Big B (Amitabh Bachchan) accompanied with Abhishek Bachchan & daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, all were seen clad in the white colour. Also present in the wedding ceremony, was of course all the family members from the Kapoor family. The list included Sonam’s brother Harshwardhan Kapoor, father Anil Kapoor, all the cousins naming Anshula Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Arjun Kapoor, uncles Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor along with daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.
Talking about the friends and acquaintances from the Bollywood industry, there was Bollywood’s favourite director Karan Johar, who looked dashing in a pink coloured Sherwani. Also, there were other Bollywood stars such as Ranveer Singh, who looked handsome as ever, Jacqueline Fernandes who looked like a majestic diva in a traditional pink lehenga, Rani Mukherji, Swara Bhaskar, .Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor along with Saif Ali Khan and their adorable son Taimur.
Everybody seemed to have a lot of fun and frolic at the wedding event. Sonam’s cousin and bollywood’s actor Arjun Kapoor and Ranveeer Singh were even seen to be singing “Masakkalli song from Delhi 6” live with the live music band present at the venue.
The wedding festivities started long before the actual wedding that is the traditional Anand Karaj which happened as a traditional Sikh marriage ceremony. The Mehndi and Sangeet function of Sonam’s wedding was also a gala affair where everyone seemed to be enjoying the best time of their lives. After all the completion and rituals of the wedding ceremony, the Ahuja’s and the Kapoor’s are all set to celebrate a little more by hosting a grand reception for the much talked about newly weds in town now, at the Leela’s in Mumbai, tonight. The festivities of Sonam’s wedding doesn’t seem to come to an end with a grand reception tonight, which is expected to witness the presence of more big Bollywood celebrities at the event.
