Bihar Bandh: Left-Wing Student Groups Hit Streets, Security Tightened Across State

Patna: Members of left-wing student organizations staged protests across several districts of Bihar on Saturday in support of the statewide bandh over the alleged NEET paper leak and police action against protesting students.

Authorities deployed heavy police forces in Patna, Siwan, Jehanabad, Sheikhpura, Rohtas and other districts to maintain law and order. Despite the demonstrations, normal life in the state capital remained largely unaffected, according to police.
