India’s Domestic Air Passenger Traffic Declines 4.8% in July to 1.20 Crore: DGCA

MUMBAI: Domestic air passenger traffic declined 4.80 per cent year-on-year to 1.20 crore in July, compared with 1.26 crore in the same month last year, according to DGCA data released.

Despite the July decline, domestic airlines carried 984.03 lakh passengers during January-July 2026, up 0.64 per cent from 977.79 lakh in the year-ago period. IndiGo carried 80.82 lakh passengers in July, while the Air India group flew 28.75 lakh passengers during the month.
