1,481 Km of Rail Projects Worth Rs 24,210 Crore Underway in SCR Zone

HYDERABAD: Around 1,500 km of new-line, doubling and tripling railway projects worth Rs 24,210 crore are currently underway in the South Central Railway (SCR) zone, General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava said on Thursday.

At a meeting with MPs from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Srivastava reviewed passenger services, freight loading, station amenities, cleanliness and other initiatives. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and 15 MPs attended the meeting at Rail Nilayam in Hyderabad, the SCR said.
