Major train accident in the capital Bhubaneswar… Two trains collide head-on

Bhubaneswar: Two trains collide in Bhubaneswar. A train accident has occurred near Bhubaneswar railway station. Two trains collided head-on on the one track. It has been reported that a train coming from Mancheswar hit another train. The accident took place near the railway bridge of Jharpada. The Konark Express and another train carrying four AC coaches collided near the Jharpada Bridge. The Konark Express, which was leaving passengers and heading towards Mancheswar Depot for cleaning, collided with a spare train already on the track. As a result, the locks in front of both trains were broken. The accident occurred at 9:06 am. There were no passengers on the train. The loco pilots of both trains are also safe.

Senior railway officials and staff have reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and have started an investigation. How did two trains come on one track? Has any incident taken place? Who is responsible for this? The Railway Department is investigating on these things. The railway official said that whose fault caused the accident will be revealed after the investigation done in preliminary basis.
