Tamil Nadu Announces Rs 947 Crore Highway Four-Laning Project, DPRs Promised for 182 Demands
CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Minister Aadhav Arjuna on Monday unveiled a highway four-laning project estimated at Rs 947.46 crore and assured the Assembly that Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) would be prepared for 182 road infrastructure demands raised by MLAs.
Responding to concerns over road infrastructure, the Public Works Minister said DPR works had already begun in key industrial corridors and accident-prone areas across the state. He said the government was systematically addressing requests for bypass infrastructure submitted by the 182 legislators.
