A R Rahman honoured with Academy of Achievement Award in Washington

Mumbai: Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman has been honoured with the prestigious Academy of Achievement Award at a ceremony held in Washington, D.C., adding another global recognition to his illustrious career.

Rahman shared the news on social media platform, expressing gratitude after receiving the coveted Golden Plate Award from acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson. “I am deeply humbled receiveing the Academy of Achievement Award this evening. #Washington #peterjacksonnz,” Rahman wrote, while posting photographs from the ceremony featuring the award and Jackson.
