FSSAI Cracks Down on Dior Pharmaceuticals, Suspends Nutraceutical Unit Licence
New Delhi: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended the licence of Dior Pharmaceuticals after detecting multiple violations at its nutraceutical manufacturing facility in Punjab. The action was announced by FSSAI through a social media post on Thursday.
The food regulator found “serious non-compliances” during an inspection. They stated that the unit was operating with severely deficient Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
