Community Alert Ahead of RSS Chief’s NY Event: Be Vigilant, Avoid Confrontation
WASHINGTON: A US-based Hindu advocacy group has issued a community alert ahead of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s event in New York on Saturday, urging attendees to avoid confrontation with activists planning protests against the programme.
The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) warned of possible attempts to disrupt the Universal Oneness Celebrations, featuring Bhagwat, at the Infosys Theatre at Madison Square Garden. Hindus for Human Rights and other groups have announced protests outside the venue coinciding with the event.
