Kharge Demands Shah Explain Student Lathicharge, Pellet Gun Action in Parliament

NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah appear in Parliament to explain the alleged lathicharge and pellet gun action against protesting students. The Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha said the government must answer the opposition’s questions and sought a statement from the home minister on the incident.

Kharge also urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explain allegations regarding the theft of donations meant for the Ram temple, asserting that the government would have to respond to the INDIA bloc’s concerns in Parliament.
