JAMMU: Flash floods triggered by a cloudburst hit the Chatroo area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district early Saturday, disrupting normal life in the region. Authorities ordered the closure of schools in Kishtwar, Doda, and Ramban districts as persistent rainfall continued to lash the Chenab Valley. Officials said all educational institutions have been directed to conduct online classes until conditions improve, while authorities remain on alert amid the ongoing inclement weather.
