‘How safe is common public?’ Mayawati questions UP law and order after IPS officer’s mother’s murder

LUCKNOW: BSP chief Mayawati on Monday termed the “murder” of the mother of senior IPS officer Ashutosh Mishra in Ambedkar Nagar “extremely tragic” and expressed concern over the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.

In a post, Mayawati said the apprehension among people over the incident was justified, questioning how safe the common public could feel if such a heinous crime could occur in a police officer’s family.
