‘Big Responsibility’: Prashant Kishor Takes Oath as Bihar MLA

PATNA: Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishor on Monday took the oath as Bankipur MLA at the Bihar Legislative Assembly in the presence of Speaker Prem Kumar.

After taking the oath, Kishor said it was a matter of pride to be a member of a House where leaders including Krishna Sinha, Karpoori Thakur, Anugrah Narayan Sinha, Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Ram Vilas Paswan and Sushil Kumar Modi had served.

He described his new role as a “big responsibility”. He said he would strive to follow the example of legislators who devoted their lives to the betterment of society and Bihar.
