Modi Govt Giving People ‘High-Voltage’ Inflation Shock, Misleading Them with Statistics: Congress

NEW DELHI: The Congress on Tuesday accused the Centre of delivering a “high-voltage shock” of rising prices to people and alleged that the Modi government was misleading the public through “statistical jugglery”.

Congress general secretary in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “preoccupied with generating fake headlines” and alleged that the government had taken away the common man’s dream of owning a home. He said the government was delivering a fresh shock of rising prices every week.
