Prasidh Krishna’s Double Blow Keeps India on Top as Sri Lanka Slip to 130/4

COLOMBO: Prasidh Krishna’s pace and extra bounce helped India restrict Sri Lanka to 130 for four at lunch on the third day of the second and final Test on Tuesday.

Pasindu Sooriyabandara remained unbeaten on 65, with captain Dhananjaya de Silva on four, as Sri Lanka trailed India by 373 runs. Starting the day at 8 for two, the hosts added 122 runs in the morning session. The session also witnessed heated verbal exchanges involving Sarfaraz Khan, who was substituting for Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Siraj, and the Sri Lankan batters.
