Shubhendu’s cabinet expansion: 35 ministers take oath
Kolkata: The cabinet of Chief Minister Shubhendu Abhikari has been expanded in West Bengal. A total of 35 ministers have taken oath. In a program organized at Lok Bhavan, Governor R.N. Ravi read the oath of office and secrecy of the ministers. Earlier on May 9, Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Ashok Kiraniya, Nisith Pramanik and Tippuram Tudu took oath as cabinet ministers along with Shubhendu. Now, including Shubhendu with 35 new ministers, the total number of ministers in the state has reached 41. Among the new 35 ministers, 13 are cabinet ministers, 3 are ministers of state (independent charge) and 19 are ministers of state.
