Rajya Sabha by-election: Nomination begins, scrutiny of nomination papers on 9th

Bhubaneswar: Notification has been issued for the Rajya Sabha by-election. Nomination begins today. Nominations can be filed from today till June 8th. Nominations can be filed from 11 am to 3 pm. The by-election will be held for the vacant Rajya Sabha seat after the resignation of Debashisa Samantaraiya. For this, the Assembly Secretary and Returning Officer held a press conference and said that nomination papers can be filed on any day other than a holiday. According to information, the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on June 9th. The last day for withdrawal of candidates is 3 pm on June 11th. The results will be declared on June 18th along with the counting of votes.
