VFS Global Opens Maharashtra’s First Model Sub-Registrar Office in Pune
MUMBAI: VFS Global has launched Maharashtra’s first Model Sub-Registrar Office (SRO) in Pune, aimed at streamlining and digitally transforming property registration services.
The company, in consortium with WE Excel Software Pvt Ltd, secured a five-year contract from the Maharashtra government’s Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps in early 2026 to establish 60 Model SROs across the state in phases.
The centres will offer optional services, while existing government registration offices will continue to operate.
