Yogi Adityanath Offers Guru Purnima Prayers, Holds Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur

GORAKHPUR: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday performed Guru Purnima prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, following the traditions of the Nath sect. Adityanath, who is also the Gorakshapeethadhishwar, offered prayers to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath, former Mahants Avaidyanath and Digvijaynath, Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath and other revered Gurus of the Nath tradition. The chief minister also visited various shrines within the temple complex and paid homage at the samadhis of the departed Gurus.

According to an official statement, the rituals began early in the morning amid Vedic chants and concluded with a collective aarti.
