Green signal for India-US trade deal
US President Donald Trump has stated that there is a possibility of a trade deal between Washington, India and the US soon. He praises Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the trade relations between the two countries have improved. Trump said that India had previously imposed heavy tariffs on American goods, but now the situation has changed. Trump recalled the trade equation of the past and said that the situation is completely different now. Trump said, “India took advantage of America for years. They imposed heavy tariffs on our goods but paid nothing themselves.” But now the situation has completely reversed. We are now earning a lot of money in trade with India. Despite discussing past trade deficits and heavy tariffs, Trump expressed hope for a better trade deal with India in the near future. He gave full credit for this to Prime Minister Modi.
