Gold Futures Fall to Rs 1.40 Lakh per 10g amid Market Weakness
New Delhi: Gold futures declined by Rs 248 to Rs 1,40,100 per 10 grams on Friday, tracking weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts slipped 0.18 per cent, or Rs 248, to trade at Rs 1,40,100 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 1,026 lots.
Analysts said the decline in gold prices was primarily driven by subdued demand in the physical market.
