Delhi Will Be Developed as a Global Education Hub, Says CM Rekha Gupta
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday said the value of patriotism should be instilled in school children so they carry it forward into higher education and contribute to building a developed India.
Addressing the curtain raiser of the diamond jubilee celebrations of Delhi University’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, she said only those who understand the true meaning of patriotism can help realise the vision of a “Viksit Bharat.”Gupta also stressed the need to strengthen Delhi’s education infrastructure, saying the government aims to create better opportunities for students to pursue quality education within the country.
She said efforts are underway to develop the national capital into a major education hub, enabling Delhi to emerge as a preferred destination for higher learning.
