TCS Launches Gemini Experience Centre in Kolkata to Accelerate AI Innovation

Kolkata: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Thursday launched a Gemini Experience Centre (GEC) in Kolkata in collaboration with Google Cloud to showcase AI-driven innovations for consumer businesses.

The new facility, built using Google Cloud and Google’s Gemini models, is the third such centre in India after Chennai and Bengaluru. The Kolkata centre will help enterprises in retail, consumer packaged goods, travel, tourism, and hospitality co-create, test, and scale AI-powered solutions.

TCS said it plans to establish 10 Gemini Experience Centres globally by the end of 2026, including four in India, as part of its industry-focused AI innovation strategy.
