Students may end Jharkhand protest as Govt. cancels job exams over ‘anomalies’

RANCHI: Students protesting alleged irregularities in Jharkhand recruitment exams may decide on Tuesday whether to withdraw their demonstration after the state government cancelled all recruitment tests, including the JSSC-CGL exam, which had been conducted by an outsourced agency since 2014. Chief Minister Hemant Soren also announced an exam reforms committee headed by senior IAS officer Amitabh Kaushal to recommend measures to strengthen the recruitment examination process.
