New Delhi: Global electronic music duo The Chainsmokers are set to return to India later this year with a three-city tour, bringing their hit-filled live performances back to the country after a prolonged absence.

The Grammy-winning pair, comprising Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, will perform in Mumbai on December 18, Delhi on December 19, and Bengaluru on December 20, organisers announced on Wednesday. Known for global chart-toppers such as Closer and Don’t Let Me Down, the duo have built a massive fan following in India with their blend of electronic dance music and pop.

A major highlight of the tour will be their appearance as headliners at the Mumbai edition of Sunburn Festival 2026. The event will be held at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, marking the festival’s debut at the iconic venue.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Raut asserted that neither the people of Maharashtra nor Shiv Sena (UBT) lawmakers would remain silent if another rebellion similar to the 2022 split were to take place. He said those seeking to leave the party should first resign from their positions and face the electorate.
