CIK Carries Out Coordinated Raids at Multiple Locations across Kashmir Valley

SRINAGAR: Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday conducted raids at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley as part of an ongoing investigation into a case registered under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), officials said.

According to officials, search operations were carried out at five locations spread across four districts — Srinagar, Ganderbal, Kupwara, and Anantnag.

The raids were conducted in connection with an investigation into FIR No. 7/2023, registered at the Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC), Counter Intelligence, Kashmir police station, in Srinagar, under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Further investigation into the case is underway, officials added.
