Delhi Govt. to Set Up 250 Water ATMs across the Capital

NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has approved a ₹58 crore project to install 250 water ATMs across the national capital, with the first phase to begin in government schools, Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh announced on Wednesday.

The proposal received clearance during a Delhi Jal Board meeting as part of efforts to improve access to safe drinking water. The board also approved a ₹2,000 crore project to establish 15 decentralised sewage treatment plants (DSTPs) to strengthen the city’s wastewater management infrastructure.
