New Delhi: All India Students’ Association (AISA) activists on Monday ended their 23-day indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar. After a delegation of opposition MPs, civil society members, and eminent personalities appealed to them to continue their movement through Parliament and public campaigns, they ended up their strike.

The three activists, named as Neha, Manish, and Aameen, called off their fast amid heavy rain in the national capital. The delegation assured them that their demands would be raised during the Monsoon Session of Parliament and pursued through sustained political and public campaigns.
