Congress Demands Transparency over Alleged ONGC CSR Funding to RSS-Linked Organisations

BENGALURU: Karnataka Congress president B K Hariprasad on Monday questioned the alleged flow of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s (ONGC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to organisations linked to the RSS and sought greater transparency in the use of public resources.

Citing a media report, Hariprasad alleged that ONGC had channelled Rs 668 crore in CSR funds to 20 RSS-linked organisations over the past decade, saying the matter deserved public scrutiny. In a post on social media, he called for accountability and transparency in the allocation of CSR funds by the state-owned company.
