Delhi Assembly Chaos: Six AAP MLAs Marshalled Out of House

NEW DELHI: Six AAP MLAs were marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly on Monday, shortly after the commencement of the second day of the Monsoon Session, following an objection to the “objectionable” T-shirts they were wearing.

Speaker Vijender Gupta asked the legislators to remove the T-shirts, but the issue led to an uproar in the House. The MLAs marshalled out were Sanjeev Jha, Jarnail Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Prem Kumar, Som Dutt and Ajay Dutt. The controversy began after Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht objected to the T-shirts worn by the AAP legislators inside the Assembly.
