Kerala CM Condemns Force against Students Protesting NEET Issue

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Monday described the alleged use of force against students protesting in Delhi over the NEET question paper leak and related issues as “deeply disturbing.”

In a post, Satheesan referred to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks alleging police assault on the protesters, including young women. Gandhi claimed that pellet guns, nail-studded lathis and tear gas were used against the students and called for a Supreme Court-monitored inquiry. He also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the incident.
