Delhi CJP Protest Violence: ACP Suffers Head Injury, Limb Bruises and Ear Bleeding

New Delhi: Delhi Police ACP (Connaught Place) Vivek Bhagat sustained multiple injuries after a reported stone-pelting incident near Jantar Mantar on Wednesday evening during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest, according to a medical update from Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.

Doctors found bruises on both his upper and lower limbs, shoulder injuries, and swelling at the back of his head. The officer also complained of ear bleeding and vomiting following the incident.

After receiving initial treatment and evaluation by the Department of Surgery at RML Hospital, ACP Bhagat requested to continue his treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi. He was discharged from RML Hospital at his own request to seek further medical care at AIIMS.
