Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Row: BJP Leaders Stage Protests outside AAP MLAs’ Homes, Offices

NEW DELHI: BJP leaders and workers on Monday staged protests near the offices and residences of AAP MLAs over the Arvind Kejriwal-led party’s opposition to the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana. The protests came a day after AAP boycotted the Delhi Assembly session, during which Minister Ashish Sood delivered the vote of thanks for the launch of the scheme. Under the scheme, eligible women will receive monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500.

Delhi BJP general secretary Yogita Singh, former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri and other BJP leaders protested near the residence of Leader of Opposition Atishi in Kalkaji.
