Delhi Receives Light to Moderate Showers as Monsoon Activity Intensifies
NEW DELHI: Several parts of the national capital witnessed light to moderate rainfall on Thursday morning, providing much-needed relief from humid weather and bringing down temperatures across the city.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is expected to experience a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall during the day. The weather agency has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by rain over the next three days, with similar conditions likely on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The IMD said the minimum temperature on Thursday settled at 22.8 degrees Celsius, which is 5.1 degrees below the seasonal average, reflecting the impact of the widespread rainfall.
