How much donation will be received for Ayodhya Ram temple? Trust secretary reveals the amount
General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Roy has given information about the amount of donations received by the Ayodhya Ram Temple since its establishment. He said that the amount of donations received by the temple is calculated by the trust from time to time. In this process, representatives from the trust and the State Bank of India generally gets involved. This process goes on for a few days.
According to the annual report of the Ayodhya Ram Temple released on last September, the annual income for the financial year 2024-25 was Rs. 327 crore. Out of this, Rs 153 crore came from donations. Similarly, Rs 173 crore came from interest earned on deposits in various bank accounts. According to the trust, an average of 70 to 80 thousand people visit the temple every day. However, this number increases two to three times more than this during holidays and festivals. According to the Ram Temple’s annual report, it has been cleared that temple receives Rs 41.92 lakh in donations every day. The percentage of this calculation is Rs 1.75 lakh per hour and Rs 2192 per minute. In the last financial year 2024-25, it has received Rs 1.75 lakh in donations in every hour. On the first day of January 2024, the Ram temple received donations worth Rs 3.17 crore. On the first 11 days of February 2024, donations worth Rs 11 crore were received. However, the trust report shows that Rs 327 crore was received in donations for the entire year.
Four big donation boxes have been placed near the darshan path in the inner sanctum of the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Devotees deposit their donation amount in these boxes. The temple trust also accepts donations online. A team of 14 people, including about 11 bank employees and 3 temple trust members, counts the amount of donations deposited in four donation boxes by devotees.
