MUMBAI: Mumbai people woke up to gloomy skies and strong winds on Tuesday morning, with no significant rainfall recorded. The IMD (India Meteorological Department) has issued an ‘orange’ alert. This situation is offering a temporary interval after two days of intense downpours that disrupted normal life.

All schools and colleges (government, private and civic-run) in Mumbai will remain closed on Tuesday as a safety measure, officials said.
