Naga Village in Kangpokpi Attacked, Nine Houses Gutted in Manipur

KANGPOKPI/IMPHAL: At least nine houses were burnt down after armed men allegedly attacked a Naga village in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district on Tuesday night, officials said on Wednesday.

The incident took place at Tokpa Liangmai Naga village around 9.30 pm, they said. The attackers allegedly opened fire before setting ablaze nine houses, most of which were kutcha structures, officials added.
