NDA’s ‘Mangal Milan’ Focuses on Sporting Success, Expanding Job Opportunities
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers and leaders of the NDA on Tuesday attended the ruling coalition’s weekly ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting of parliamentarians at the Parliament House complex, where presentations highlighted India’s achievements in international sports and expanding employment opportunities for youth.
The meeting focused on the country’s growing success in global sporting events and initiatives aimed at generating crores of jobs for young people. The meeting came a day after the BJP suffered a setback in the Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar, where the party’s candidate lost to Prashant Kishore. BJP president Nitin Nabin was seen seated next to Prime Minister Modi during the gathering. The bypoll was necessitated after Nabin vacated the seat following his election to the Rajya Sabha after taking charge as BJP president.
