NIRL Bags 900 MW Solar Project, Boosting NLC India’s Green Energy Push
NEW DELHI: State-owned NLC India Ltd on Thursday announced that its wholly owned arm, NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL), has secured an order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) to develop a 900 MW solar power project.
The project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, according to a regulatory filing by the company. Power generated from the project will be procured by GUVNL, further strengthening NLC India’s renewable energy portfolio.
