Stampede at Bihar Temple Claims Six Lives, Several Injured
LAKHISARAI (BIHAR): A stampede at the Ashok Dham temple in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district has occurred on Monday morning. In this incident, at least six devotees were killed and several others injured, officials said. A heavy rush of devotees were there on Monday to offer water to Lord Shiva during the holy month of Shravan. According to SDPO Shivam Kumar, police and district administration officials reached the spot, and rescue operations are underway.
