Supreme Court Refuses to Interfere with Lalu Yadav’s Bail in Fodder Scam
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to interfere with the Jharkhand High Court’s order granting bail to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in a fodder scam case.
A bench of Justices M M Sundresh and P B Varale directed the high court to expedite the hearing of the pending appeals and dispose of them preferably within six months. The apex court was hearing a CBI plea challenging the Jharkhand High Court’s July 2019 order granting bail to Yadav.
