‘Time of Strategic Churn’: Admiral Swaminathan Flags Emerging Security Challenges
MUMBAI: Navy chief Admiral Krishna Swaminathan on Monday said the ongoing crisis in West Asia reflects a period of significant strategic churn, with the maritime environment becoming increasingly contested.
He said threat perceptions are constantly evolving, bringing newer forms of challenges and complexities. Swaminathan made the remarks after commissioning the deep-sea diving vessel INS Nipun into the Indian Navy in Mumbai.
