‘Will Keep Him in Maharashtra’: Amruta Fadnavis Quells Delhi Shift Speculation
PANDHARPUR (MAHARASHTRA): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s wife, Amruta Fadnavis, on Saturday said she wanted her husband to “stay” in Maharashtra, amid speculation over the BJP leader’s future political role.
Speaking to reporters after offering Ashadhi Ekadashi prayers at the Lord Vitthal temple in Pandharpur, she remarked, “I want to stay in Maharashtra, and I will ensure Devendraji in Maharashtra also stays.”, Amruta said protests were justified as long as they remained focused on the matter addressing the ongoing paper leak issue, while noting that the government was taking corrective steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
