FM Sitharaman Lands in US for G20 Discussions, High-Level Business Meetings

WASHINGTON: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has arrived in the US for a six-day visit, during which she will attend the G20 Finance Ministers’ meeting and hold discussions with CEOs and business leaders on investment opportunities.

Sitharaman arrived at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Thursday after a three-day visit to Canada, where she participated in the inaugural India-Canada Economic and Financial Dialogue.

She was received by Indian Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Namgya C Khampa and Consul General of India in Chicago Somnath Ghosh, an official statement said.
