11-Member Indian Team Arrives in Nepal to Assist with Flood Relief Operations
KATHMANDU: An 11-member Indian team comprising medical personnel and tunnel rescue experts arrived in Nepal on Saturday to assist local authorities in the aftermath of devastating flash floods that have killed more than 500 people and left nearly 2,000 missing. Sent at the request of the Nepal government, the team will support ongoing rescue and relief operations in the worst-affected areas of the Himalayan nation.
