Two Law Students Arrested for Abusing Judges, Disrupting Supreme Court Proceedings

New Delhi: Two law students were arrested for allegedly abusing during a Supreme Court hearing, assaulting a security staff member, and disrupting court proceedings, police said on Wednesday.

The accused, Prabal Pratap Singh (24), a third-year law student at Lucknow University and petitioner-in-person, and Chander Bhan (23), a second-year law student from Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli, were arrested in connection with the July 10 incident. The disruption occurred during the hearing of a Special Leave Petition (Civil) in Court No. 13 of the apex court.
