Skoda Auto India Posts Record H1 2026 Sales at 38,894 Units, Up 7.5%

NEW DELHI: Skoda Auto India on Wednesday reported its highest-ever half-yearly sales in the country, with deliveries rising 7.5 per cent year-on-year to 38,894 units in the January-June period of 2026.

The automaker said the H1 2026 performance surpassed its previous record set in the first half of 2025, reflecting sustained demand and the success of its growth strategy in the Indian market. The company attributed the strong performance to its expanded product portfolio, customer-centric initiatives, and continued focus on delivering an enhanced ownership experience.

Commenting on the milestone, Skoda Auto India Brand Director Ashish Gupta said the record sales underscore the growing confidence and trust that customers have placed in the brand. “Our half-yearly sales record reflects not only the rising confidence but also the trust customers place in the Skoda brand. Gupta also said, “We have strengthened this connection in 2026 through a focused product innovation, customer-first initiatives, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.”
