Swiggy-Owned Instamart Brings in Gautam Swaroop as New CBO amid Leadership Revamp
NEW DELHI: Swiggy-owned quick-commerce platform Instamart has appointed former OYO executive Gautam Swaroop as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO), reinforcing its leadership team as competition intensifies in India’s fast-growing quick-commerce sector.
The appointment comes just days after Hari Kumar stepped down as Instamart’s CBO. The company also recently saw the departure of its Chief Operating Officer, Ankit Kumar. Announcing the appointment on Wednesday, Swiggy said Gautam Swaroop’s induction is part of a broader effort to strengthen Instamart’s leadership as it scales operations and drives business growth. In addition to Swaroop, Instamart has brought in several senior executives, including Srikar Adavi as Vice President, Ad Monetisation, and Hardeep Kaur as Associate Vice President, Category (FMCG), among other key hires.
Swiggy’s latest appointments are expected to bolster Instamart’s business strategy as it seeks to maintain its competitive position in the increasingly crowded market.
