6 Killed in Separate Road Accidents across Three Jharkhand Districts
RANCHI: At least six people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents across three districts of Jharkhand, police said on Wednesday. The fatal accidents took place in Sahibganj, Gumla, and Jamtara districts, with each district reporting two deaths.
In Sahibganj, a man and a woman lost their lives while four others sustained injuries after an e-rickshaw collided head-on with a four-wheeler near Jamnagar Bangalipara late on Tuesday night, a police officer said.
The injured are undergoing treatment as they were rushed to a nearby hospital. The condition of some of the victims is yet to be officially disclosed. Police said the remaining four deaths were reported in separate accidents in Gumla and Jamtara districts. Details of those incidents were being collected.
Authorities have launched investigations into all three accidents to determine the exact cause of the crashes.
