Delhi Fire: Goods worth Lakhs Destroyed in Massive Blaze at Janakpuri Electronics Showroom

NEW DELHI: A massive fire broke out at a multi-storey electronics showroom in Delhi’s Janakpuri in the early hours of Wednesday, destroying goods worth lakhs of rupees, officials said.

The blaze erupted at the Vijay Sales showroom on Uttam Nagar-Najafgarh Road around 4.15 am, prompting an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), which rushed 15 fire tenders to the spot to contain the flames. According to fire officials, no injuries or casualties were reported as the showroom was closed when the fire broke out.

Dramatic visuals from the scene showed thick plumes of black smoke rising into the sky while flames rapidly spread across the multi-storey building. The blaze was visible from a considerable distance, drawing the attention of local residents.
